Leisure Businesses
Our market knowledge of leisure business transactions is extensive, giving us direct access to intelligence in the sector and an understanding of purchaser behaviour and market conditions.
Through this knowledge, we are able to value leisure businesses based on first hand knowledge of market trends, operator and investor behaviour and attitudes, and transactions. The valuation of operational entities is significantly different to valuing leisure property investments - not only must the valuer take into account the value of the property asset,
but also the value attributable to trade furnishings, fixtures, fittings and equipment and the inherent goodwill arising out of trading potential and business profits.
Recent instructions include; Tattershall Castle Group of circa 200 large managed pubs nationwide, Soho House Group of restaurants, bars, private members clubs and hotels; London Town Plc portfolio of tenanted pubs; The acquisition by Balls Brothers of Lewis & Clarke; Advice on Baa Bar portfolio in the northwest of England; and the valuation of Faucet Inn Pub Co.
