Margaret Walsh BSc (Hons), MRICS, ACI Arb
Since joining Davis Coffer Lyons in February 2006 Margaret has worked as a senior member of the Landlord & Tenant team dealing with catering and licensed premises. She is a rent review and lease renewal advisor and negotiator with over 10 years experience in private practice.
Margaret has specialist knowledge of London’s West End and additional experience in Health & Fitness and West End Theatre sectors. She is currently one of the most active landlord advisors in Covent Garden, advising Roadhouse; Café Rouge; Tutton’s and All Bar One amongst others.
Her recent and ongoing rent review and lease renewal appointments include Quo Vadis, Dean Street; Slug and Lettuce, Wardour Street; Market Place Bar, Market Place; KICK, Shoreditch; Mint Leaf, Haymarket; Zuma, Knightsbridge; Chez Gerrard, St Paul’s; and Gaucho, Sloane Avenue.
Margaret has recently been appointed to advise the Reebok Club in Canary Wharf on 100,000 sq ft health and fitness club rent review in 2008. In addition she has been appointed by the Theatres Trust to negotiate rent reviews on the Garrick and Lyric Theatres.
Outside London, Margaret is negotiating rent reviews on various out of town leisure schemes including: Cardinal Leisure Park, Ipswich; Skydome Leisure Scheme, Coventry; and Southbury Road Park, Enfield.
She is also involved with restaurant and bar rent reviews in locations such as Reading (Loch Fyne), Bath (Ha Ha Bar), Oxford (Café Uno), Richmond (Wagamama) and Peterborough (ASK).
