With over 20 years experience, Tim is one of the licensed and leisure property sector’s leading advisers.
Since joining Davis Coffer Lyons in 1987, Tim has established a Landlord & Tenant department covering all aspects of rent review and lease renewal work in the catering and licensed property sector on behalf of operators and investors.
He is one of the most active surveyors in negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals on major bars and restaurants in prime central London locations, particularly Mayfair, St James’, Covent Garden, Leicester Square and the surrounding Soho area. Tim is also highly active in the provincial market dealing with themed pubs, bars, restaurants and nightclubs in prime town centre locations and on leisure parks.
Tim is regularly called on to act as Arbitrator/Independent Expert on rent review and valuation disputes relating to A3/A4/A5 and D2 properties throughout the UK and performs Expert Witness work. He also regularly advises investors in their acquisition of leisure property investments.
